
Alana Arenas and Behzad Dabu will join the previously reported Usman Ally in American Theater Company’s world premiere production of Ayad Akhtar’s Disgraced, which will be presented February 3-March 4, with an opening on February 6. Kimberly Senior will direct.
Set in modern-day New York City, the play focuses on a Muslim-American lawyer who is rapidly moving up the corporate ladder while distancing himself from his cultural roots. At the moment of achieving his life-long ambitions, he falls victim to professional and personal betrayals. The play is produced by special arrangement with The Araca Group.
