The Tony Awards: Act One to Stream on Pluto TV Ahead of Primetime Ceremony

The free streaming service will air the first batch of Tony Award presentations.

CBS and Pluto TV will partner to present The Tony Awards: Act One, a live pre-show that will lead into The 76th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 11.

The Tony Awards: Act One will air from 6:30-8pm ET/3:30-5pm PT on Pluto TV and will feature the presentation of the first round of Tony Awards. Viewers can access the show on their smart TV, streaming
device, mobile app, or online by going to Pluto TV and clicking on the “Pluto TV Celebrity” channel (no payment, registration or sign-in required). The primetime ceremony will follow, airing from 8-11pm on CBS and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+. Hosts and further details about the pre-show will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Tony Awards, which honors theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, is presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing and has been broadcast on CBS since 1978. Academy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Ariana DeBose (West Side Story) returns to host this year’s ceremony live from the United Palace in New York City’s Washington Heights.

Nominations for the 2023 Tony Awards will be announced on Tuesday, May 2 in a ceremony hosted by Lea Michele and Myles Frost.
