The Outsiders Announced for the Kennedy Center's 2025-26 Season

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced its 2025–26 theater season featuring three Tony Award-winning Best Musicals, The Outsiders, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, and Monty Python’s Spamalot.

First up is Monty Python’s Spamalot (December 16–January 4), returning to Kennedy Center after a Broadway run. Next up is Chicago (March 31–April 5), followed by Moulin Rouge! The Musical (June 16–July 5, 2026).

The season continues with Back to the Future (July 7–19, 2026), Mrs. Doubtfire (July 14–August 2, 2026), and the 2024 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, The Outsiders (July 28–August 16, 2026), making its Washington, DC debut.

In addition to Broadway musicals, the season includes a Christmas show from Ireland’s Shamrock Tenors (November 25–30), a show of illusions, Champions of Magic (November 18–23), the Improvised Shakespeare Company (November 28–December 23), and a new theatrical show starring Bluey (June 24–July 5, 2026).

Productions for the 2025–26 Broadway Center Stage series will be announced at a later date.
