Stage star and Oscar winner Robin Williams will guest star on the June 28 season premeire of FX’s Wilfred, according to TVGuide.com.
The series, which stars Elijah Wood and Jason Gann, is about a manic-depressive man who inexplicably is the only one who can see his neighbor’s dog as full-grown man in a dog suit. Stage and screen star Steven Weber will also be among the cast the season.
Williams’ stage credits include Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, Waiting for Godot, Robin Williams: Live on Broadway, and Weapons of Self Destruction. He received the Academy Award for Good Will Hunting, and his many film and television credits include Good Morning Vietnam, Mrs. Doubtfire, Patch Adams, and Mork & Mindy.
