Beth Leavel also stars in the classic.

The Muny has announced more casting for its upcoming production of Meet Me in St. Louis, running August 6–13.
Previously announced Tony winner Beth Leavel (Katie Connelly) will be joined by Patti Murin as Mrs. Anna Smith and Colin Donnell as Mr. Alonzo Smith.
The real-life couple returns to the Muny stage alongside a company that includes Katerina McCrimmon (Esther), Kyla Stone (Rose), Andrew Poston (John Truitt), Stan Brown (Grandpa Prophater), Ilan Eskenazi (Lon), Lilah Levinson (Tootie), Joylin Bass (Agnes), and Lissa deGuzman (Lucille Ballard).
Directed by Maggie Burrows with choreography by Sarah Meahl and music direction by Paul Byssainthe Jr., the production marks the ninth Muny staging of the musical, a staple of the theater’s repertory since its 1960 premiere there.
Meet Me in St. Louis is a 1989 musical based on the 1944 film of the same name, which itself is based on the 1942 novel by Sally Benson. It has a book by Hugh Wheeler and classic songs, including “The Boy Next Door,” “The Trolley Song,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane.
