On Monday night, the Gershwin Theatre hosted Defying Inequality: The Broadway Concert, a benefit that raised $400,000 for five national equal rights organizations, and which featured the theatrical premiere of Marc Shaiman’s Prop 8-The Musical. The event was hosted by fashion expert Carson Kressley and comedian Judy Gold.
