PHOTO FLASH: Lloyd Burlingame, Pam MacKinnon, Carrie Robbins, Tony Walton at TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards

The 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards ceremony was held on May 4 at the Hudson Theatre.

As previously reported, scenic, lighting, and costume designer Lloyd Burlingame is the recipient of the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design while costume designer Carrie Robbins is the recipient of the TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award. Awardees also included Mathew LeFebvre, who received the Young Master Award, and Lynn Pecktal, who received the Artisan Award.

In addition to the presentation of the honors, the ceremony also featured a special memorial tribute to the husband and wife design team of William and Jean Eckart, with a screening of Suzy Benzinger’ original 15-minute film on their lives.

Among the attendees at the event were Willa Kim, Pam MacKinnon, Clint Ramos, Tazewell Thompson, Jen Walton, Tony Walton, and Mel Weingart.
