The Geffen Playhouse celebrated the opening of Emmy Award-winning playwright Jane Anderson’s world premiere of The Escort, on Wednesday, April 6. Lisa Peterson has directed the production.
Polly Draper and Maggie Siff star in this play, which follows the relationship between Charlotte (Siff), a high-class call girl and Rhona (Draper), her upper West side female gynecologist. The cast also includes James Eckhouse and Gabriel Sunday.
Among the opening night guests were actors Dana Delany, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, John Earl Jelks, and Tony Shalhoub, and playwright Beau Willimon.
