Kinky Boots's Brendon Urie Checks Himself Out on the New York City Subway

Panic! At the Disco lead vocalist Brendon Urie is currently making his Broadway debut in the role of Charlie Price in Kinky Boots at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. During a recent pre-show lull, Urie headed down into the New York City subway to check out the Kinky Boots subway ad takeover featuring his photos. Inspired by the 2005 British film of the same title, Kinky Boots features a Tony-winning score by Cyndi Lauper and a book by Harvey Fierstein, with direction by Jerry Mitchell. The musical tells the story of Charlie Price, the owner of a failing shoe factory who realizes that a sassy drag queen named Lola has the key to the business's success.

In addition to Urie, who is set to star in Kinky Boots through August 6, the current Broadway cast also features J.
