Josh Lucas will star as Mitchell McDeere in NBC’s reboot of John Grisham’s The Firm, according to a report on Deadline.com.
The series is slated to take place nearly a decade after the events of Grisham’s 1991 novel and the film of the same name, which starred Tom Cruise as McDeere.
Lucas’ stage credits include the 2005 revival of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie on Broadway and Fault Lines, Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell, and Corpus Christi Off-Broadway. His film and television credits include American Pyscho, A Beautiful Mind, Poseidon, The Hulk, and Lincoln Lawyer, as well as the forthcoming J. Edgar and Big Sur.
