Academy Award and Grammy Award winner Jennifer Hudson will perform on the March 24 edition of FOX’s American Idol.
Hudson is a former contestant on the hit series. She won the Academy Award for her portrayal of Effie White in the film version of the Broadway musical Dreamgirls and has appeared in such films as Sex and the City 2 and The Secret Life of Bees. She appeared on Broadway in the Actors Fund concert of Hair.
She is also a popular concert and recording artist.
