Brasch and Leonhard-Hooper perform the musical with nothing but a keyboard and a foley table.

Hole!, created by American Sing-Song (Jake Brasch & Nadja Leonhard-Hooper) and directed by RJ Tolan, will run November 24–January 10, 2027, in Playwrights Horizons’ Peter Jay Sharp Theater.
In Hole!, a religious sect in Nebraska wears buttplugs at all times because they believe a wrathful God shall suck all of earth’s unplugged sinners up, ass-first, to burn on the face of the sun, and they’re right. A decade after “The Great Sucking,” best friends Luke and Connor set off across America on a holy mission to complete God’s work.
American Sing-Song is a two-person musical theater factory made up of Brasch and Leonhard-Hooper, who write and perform musicals with a keyboard and a foley table.
The production’s creative team is Emmie Finckel (scenic design), Hahnji Jang (costume design), Paige Seber (lighting design), Eamon Goodman (sound design), Xhloe Rice and Natasha Roland (movement), Sara Levine and Sarah Jane Donovan (wig design), and Laura Hirschberg (production stage manager).
