Ginger Minj and Jujubee Will Bring Drag Wicked Parody to Provincetown and Atlanta

Written by Ginger Minj, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10, and Tyler Scott, Licked: For Gay is a lesbian drag parody of Wicked that turns the Emerald City into a sapphic fever dream set inside the OzDust Barroom, where facts are never black and white but the drama is pure technicolor.

Ginger Minj stars as a sexually confused, brand-obsessed Glinda opposite Jujubee, a three-time finalist on RuPaul’s Drag Race, as an Elphaba who’d rather fight fascism than fake a fairytale. Tugboat rounds out the cast as the bartender with a secret past.

Directed by Paul Conroy, the show includes the music of Ariana Grande, reimagined by Mark Byers.

Atlanta performances take place at Out Front Theatre, June 11-28, and Provincetown performances are at Red Room, July 9-26.
