The new Broadway revival of Eugene O’Neill’s classic drama will also star Gabriel Byrne.
Full casting has been announced for Roundabout Theatre Company's upcoming revival of Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Long Day’s Journey Into Night. Directed by Jonathan Kent, the production will run from April 3-June 26, with opening night set for April 27 at the American Airlines Theatre.
Colby Minifie will play the role of Cathleen the maid, joining a company headed by Oscar and Emmy winner Jessica Lange (American Horror Story) as Mary Tyrone, Golden Globe winner Gabriel Byrne (In Treatment) as James Tyrone, Tony winner John Gallagher Jr. (The Newsroom) as Edmund, and Oscar nominee Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire) as Jim Tyrone Jr.
The design team for Long Day’s Journey Into Night includes Tom Pye (sets), Jane Greenwood (costumes), Natasha Katz (lighting), and Clive Goodwin (sound).
Roundabout presents Long Day's Journey Into Night in association with Ryan Murphy, the producer of TV's Glee and American Horror Story.
