Designing Bikini Bottom for The SpongeBob Musical

The Broadway-bound SpongeBob Musical has been doling out behind-the-scenes videos of the production as it prepares for its world premiere at Broadway in Chicago's Oriental Theatre. We've already gotten tastes of the show's score as well as its whimsical characters. Now, director and co-conceiver Tina Landau gives us a peek at the production's imaginative design with a third installment of this rehearsal-room series. Take a look at how Bikini Bottom gets an onstage makeover as SpongeBob's creative team brings us under the sea.

The pre-Broadway Chicago engagement will run from June 7-July 10.
