Claudie Blakley, Tamzin Outhwaite, and Nicola Walker will star in the world premiere of Amelia Bullmore’s Di and Viv and Rose, presented by Hampstead Downstairs at the Hampstead Theatre in London, September 14-October 15. Anna Mackmin will direct.
The play is a hilarious and thoughtful exploration of friendship’s impact on life and life’s impact on friendship. It will be designed by Paul Wills with lighting by Jason Taylor and sound design by Simon Baker.
Outhwaite, who plays Di, starred in the West End revival of Sweet Charity, among other roles. Walker, who plays Viv, has credits including Seasons Greetings at the National, and Mrs Klein at the Almeida. Blakley, who plays Rose, most recently appeared on stage in The Cherry Orchard at the National Theatre.
