Page 73 Productions has announced the world premiere of Judy, a new play by Max Posner. Directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, the drama will begin previews Tuesday, September 1, at the New Ohio Theatre, with opening night set for September 10. The run is expected to conclude September 26.

It's the winter of 2040, when the world has changed — but maybe not by much. Timothy's wife has just left him, and he isn't taking it well. His sisters, Tara and Kris, are trying to help him cope while tending to their own love lives. The three seem to spend a lot of time in their basements, and their kids are starting to ask questions. Judy is a subterranean comedy about life when technology fails and human connection is just out of reach.

Featured in the production are Obie winners Deirdre O'Connell (By the Water), Birgit Huppuch (Blood Play), and Danny Wolohan (An Octoroon). Further casting will be announced in the coming months.

The production will feature scenic design by Arnulfo Maldonaldo, lighting design by Eric Southern, sound design by Leah Gelpe, and costume design by Jessica Pabst.
