Broadway veteran Amy Spanger (Chicago) will be performing her solo show, This Must Be the Place, at Joe's Pub on August 24th at 7:30pm. The event is described as "an evening of rock, pop, music theater, country, R&B, and candid storytelling."

For This Must Be the Place, Spanger is joined by her partner Kris Kukul. The show will feature favorites from her Broadway career including "Don’t Stop Believing" from Rock Of Ages, "Always True to You Darlin In My Fashion" from Kiss Me, Kate, and "Come to Your Senses" from off-Broadway's tick, tick…Boom!

In addition to Rock of Ages and Kiss Me, Kate, Spanger is known for roles in Broadway shows such as Elf, The Wedding Singer, Chicago, and Urinetown. She also played Sally in Showtimeʼs original movie musical Reefer Madness, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to become a cult classic.

Spanger's Joe's Pub concert will come just following her two-week return to the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway from August 4-16.
