Bring It On: The Musical to Play Broadway’s St. James Theatre

Bring It On: The Musical, which has been touring the country, will play Broadway’s St James Theatre, July 12-October 7. The production, which will open officially on August 1, is directed and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler, with music supervision by Alex Lacamoire.

With a book by Jeff Whitty, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Amanda Green, the show unfolds in the high-stakes world of competitive cheerleading.


The cast features Taylor Louderman (Campbell), Adrienne Warren (Danielle), Ryann Redmond (Bridget), Elle McLemore (Eva), Jason Gotay (Randall), Ariana DeBose (Nitika), Gregory Haney (La Cienega), Neil Haskell (Steven), Janet Krupin (Kylar), Kate Rockwell (Skylar) and Nick Womack (Twig), along with Calli Alden, Nikki Bohne, Dexter Carr, Shonica Gooden, Haley Hannah, Rod Harrelson, Casey Jamerson, Dominique Johnson, Michael Mindlin, Adrianna Parson, Bettis Richardson, Antwan Bethea, Danielle Carlacci, Michael Naone-Carter, Courtney Corbeille, Dahlston Delgado, Brooklyn A. Freitag, Melody Mills, David Ranck, Billie Sue Roe, Sheldon Tucker and Lauren Whitt.


The creative team includes David Korins (scenic design), Andrea Lauer (costume design), Jason Lyons (lighting designer), Brian Ronan (sound designer), and Jeff Sugg (video design).
