The Public Theater has announced that it will bring back Bridget Everett’s Rock Bottom for 18 additional performances, from January 6-February 20. The show, which was originally commissioned as part of the Joe's Pub 2013 New York Voices series, opened in September and was extended until its limited engagement ended on October 16.

Created by Bridget Everett, with Marc Shaiman (Hairspray), Scott Wittman (Hairspray), Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz, and Matt Ray, Rock Bottom has been described as "the story of what happens when you're too passionate to give up, and too big to fail." The set list is made up of new songs and tunes that Everett plays monthly with her band, The Tender Moments. Scott Wittman directs.

The show's complete company includes Cole Escola, Celisse Henderson, and Chelsea Packard. Musicians are David Berger (drums), Jason DiMatteo (bass), Mike Jackson (guitar), and Bette Sussman (music director and piano).
