TACT (The Actors Company Theatre) will present the world premiere of a long-lost 1941 play by Noël Coward, Salute to the Brave, in a concert-style reading at Scholastic Theatre on Monday, November 13, at 7pm. This is the first production in the company's 25th-anniversary 2017-18 season.

Jennifer Ehle, Kristine Nielsen, Peter Bartlett, Reed Birney, Cynthia Harris, Lorenzo Pisoni, Simon Jonees, Hanna Cheek, Nora Chester, Todd Gearhart, James Prendergast, Tony Roach, Rocco Sisto, and Lynn Wright will star in the production. Scott Alan Evans, TACT's executive artistic director, will direct. The creative team will include Steve Channon (projection design), Patrick John Kiernan (sound design), and Martha Hally (costume supervision).

The play is described as follows: "Set among the moneyed set of Connecticut, Salute to the Brave offers a blistering look at the dangers of complacency and isolationism, when a privileged British woman married to a Naval Commander escapes the bombing of London to the safety of wealth and comfort in the U.S. What she discovers there and the realizations she makes are at the center of this riveting and timely comedy."
