Flashback Friday: Looking Back at Maurice and Gregory Hines' Life of Tap

We celebrate Maurice Hines as he reaches a new Broadway milestone and his ”Tappin’ Thru Live” comes to a close.

Legendary dancer Maurice Hines has been celebrating his impressive career (much of which was shared with his brother, the late Gregory Hines) in his off-Broadway show Tappin’ Thru Life since the beginning of the year. And this week, as Tappin’ Thru Life draws to a close at New World Stages, the Broadway community is celebrating Maurice Hines.

On Wednesday, Hines received a Sardi's caricature in a public event at the legendary restaurant, and today, we look back at a performance Maurice and Gregory shared in the 1984 film The Cotton Club.
