Broadway stars Laura Benanti, Bailey Hanks, Kendra Kassebaum, Derek Keeling, Donna Murphy, Ashley Spencer, and John Tartaglia will be among the participants in the fourth annual New York Times Great Read, to be held at Columbia University on Sunday, October 5.
The day-long celebration will feature readings and performances, including “The Great Children’s Read,” a free celebration of reading featuring live entertainment for children and families.
Additional participants will include Common, Kelly Choi, Kym Hampton, Peter Howe, Mark Indelicato, Hoda Kotb, Nancy E. Krulik, Lisa Loeb, John Bemelmans Marciano, Playhouse Disney’s “Choo-Choo Soul,” Jane O’Connor, Matthew Reinhart, Danielle Roundtree, Matthew Settle, Kristen Shaughnessy, David Soman and Jacky Davis, Scott Stringer, They Might Be Giants,Yolanda Vega, George Whipple, Laurence Yep, Yo Gabba Gabba!, and Dan Zanes.
