The Phantom of the Opera to Be Available for High School and College Production

For the first time ever, high schools and colleges in the U.S. and Canada will have the opportunity to apply for permission to produce The Phantom of the Opera beginning June 3. R&H Theatricals is now accepting license requests for performances beginning September 1 or later.

The Phantom of the Opera features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart, additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe, and a book by Stilgoe and Lloyd Webber, based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de l’Opéra by Gaston Leroux. The score includes such songs as “Think of Me,” “Angel of Music,” “Music of the Night,” “All I Ask of You,” “Masquerade” and the title song.

R&HTheatricals represents the stock and amateur stage rights to over 100 musicals by more than 200 writers.
