Jane Lynch, Kiefer Sutherland to Provide Voices for FOX’s The Simpsons

Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch and stage and screen star Kiefer Sutherland will lend their voice to the 23rd season of FOX’s animated series The Simpsons, according to published reports.

Sutherland, who is about to star on Broadway in That Championship Season, will play a character very similar to Jack Bauer, his character on the long-running FOX series 24.

Lynch will voice a character named Roz, who will be Homer’s new assistant at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. The actress plays Sue Sylvester on FOX’s Glee, for which she won the 2010 Emmy Award., and her stage credits include The Brady Bunch Live and Love, Loss, and What I Wore.
