Four-time Academy Award nominee and stage veteran Annette Bening thanked the national tour cast of the Broadway hit The Book of Mormon prior to a special benefit performance of the show they presented at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 13.
The musical’s stars Gavin Creel (Elder Price) and Jared Gertner (Elder Cunningham) joined the cast on stage following the performance to thank the audience for their support of The Actors Fund and shared anecdotes of friends and colleagues who have directly benefitted from programs offered by The Actors Fund.
The added matinee raised over $200,000 for The Actors Fund in both tickets sales and private donations from patrons.
