Full casting has been announced for Yale Repertory Theatre’s world premiere of Pop!, featuring book and lyrics by Maggie-Kate Coleman and music by Anna K. Jacobs. Mark Brokaw will helm the new musical, which will run November 27-December 19, with an opening on December 3.

The show is centered around the shooting of Andy Warhol, as drag queen Candy Darling hosts a happening whodunit musical in which the famous — and infamous — denizens of Warhol’s legendary Factory all have motives to pull the trigger.

Randy Harrison plays Warhol, with the company also including Danny Binstock (Gerard), Doug Kreeger (Ondine), Leslie Kritzer (Valerie), Cristen Paige (Edie), Brian Charles Rooney (Candy), and Emily Swallow (Viva).

The creative team will include Denis Jones (choreography), Lynne Shankel (musical direction), Valérie Thérèse Bart (sets), Ying Song (costumes), Kevin Adams (lighting), David Budries (sound), Tal Yarden (projections), and Bruce Coughlin (orchestrations).
