The San Francisco Mime Troupe to Present The Youth Theater Project 2012

The San Francisco Mime Troupe is set to present its Youth Theater Project, a free evening of original ensemble-created shows, April 14 at pm and April 15 at 2 pm at Mission Cultural Center.

The event will feature San Francisco and Oakland teenagers performing two outrageous original shows. These performances are the culmination of a Mime Troupe playmaking workshop.

The Youth Theater Project aims to allow young people to artistically and creatively express their opinions, using an after-school theater program for Bay Area teens, where they can learn stage production, acting, playmaking, improvisation, and earn a small stipend.
