Lily Tomlin to Perform at Balboa Theatre in January

Tomlin received a special Tony in 1977 for her solo show Appearing Nitely and the 1986 Best Actress Tony for The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, the solo, multi-character piece she wrote with longtime partner Jane Wagner. That show was revived on Broadway in 2000.
Her many film and television credits include Nine to Five, A Prairie Home Companion, Nashville, The West Wing, Desperate Housewives, Will & Grace, Murphy Brown, and Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In.
