Circle in the Square to Join Culture Project for The Atheist, Starring Campbell Scott

Circle in the Square Theatre will co-produce with The Culture Project the upcoming production of Ronan Noone's The Atheist, to play the Barrow Street Theatre beginning October 7, with an opening set for October 12. Justin Waldman will direct.

As previously announced, the solo play will star Campbell Scott in the role of Augustine Early, a crooked reporter who will do anything to get his next front-page story.

The design team will include Ben Stanton (lighting), Cristina Todesco (set), and Alex Neumann (sound).

Scott's Broadway credits include Long Day's Journey Into Night, Ah! Wilderness, and Hay Fever. His film and television credits include Longtime Companion, Dying Young, The Spanish Prisoner, and Six Degrees.
