Former Saturday Night Live star Ana Gasteyer will play Mrs. Peachum in the Roundabout Theatre Company's upcoming revival of The Threepenny Opera, while Huff star Oliver Platt will take on the lead role of John in Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Conor McPherson's Shining City.

Gasteyer joins previously announced stars Alan Cumming, Jim Dale, Edie Falco, and Nellie McKay in Scott Elliott's production of the classic Brecht-Weill musical, which will run March 24-June 11 at Studio 54. She is currently playing Elphaba in the Chicago production of Wicked; her previous stage credits include the Broadway production of The Rocky Horror Show and the Off-Broadway plays Roulette and Kimberly Akimbo.

Shining City, to be directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls, will begin performances at the Biltmore on April 13. No other casting for the show has yet been announced. Platt's stage credits include Twelfth Night, Elliot Loves, and Ubu. The actor is a two-time Emmy Award nominee for Huff and The West Wing. He can currently be seen on the big screen in The Ice Harvest, and his previous films include The Three Musketeers and Indecent Proposal.
