Glee, Ty Burrell, John Lithgow, Jane Lynch, Julianna Margulies, et al. Receive Television Critics Association Award Nominations

The nominations for the 2010 Television Critics Association Awards have been announced, according to published reports. The winners will be revealed on July 31.

The hit FOX series Glee has received a nomination as Program of the Year , as well as Outstanding Achievement in Comedy and Outstanding New Program. Jane Lynch, who stars as Sue Sylvester on the show, has also received a nomination in the Individual Achievement in Comedy category.

Among the other nominees are John Lithgow (Dexter) and Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife) who are nominated in the Individual Achievement in Drama category, and Ty Burrell (Modern Family) in the Individual Achievement in Comedy category.

The Good Wife is also nominated in the Outstanding Achievement in Drama and Outstanding New Program categories. The other shows in the New Program category are Justified, Modern Family and Parenthood. The other series nominated in the Program of the Year category are Breaking Bad, Friday Night Lights, Lost and Modern Family.

Other performers who have been nominated include Bryan Cranston, Nick Offerman, Aaron Paul, Jim Parsons, Katey Sagal, and Eric Stonestreet.
