The Game Is On!
Academy Award winner Keith Carradine takes TheaterMania behind the scenes at the new Off-Broadway thriller Mindgame.
Theatergoers looking for a literally thrilling experience might want to head down to the SoHo Playhouse for the American premiere of Anthony Horowitz' play Mindgame, which also marks the stage directing debut of the legendary filmmaker Ken Russell. The work concerns a crime novelist who gets an interview with a notorious serial killer, and then discovers nothing he sees or hears at the asylum run by Carradine's character can be trusted. Recently, Carradine -- whose stage credits include the Broadway productions of The Will Rogers Follies and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels -- took TheaterMania contributor Valerie Smaldone on a tour of the set and then sat down and discussed why he's thrilled to be back on the New York boards.
