Hamilton Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr. is in talks to join Kenneth Branagh in Branagh's remake of the film Murder on the Orient Express, according to Variety.

Based on Agatha Christie's novel, the work follows the murder of an American businessman and the multiple suspects aboard the titular train. Branagh will play detective Hercule Poirot. Official word on Odom's involvement in the project is still to be announced.

Along with his Tony, Odom won a 2015 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album as a principal soloist in the Hamilton original cast recording. He previously appeared on Broadway in Rent and Leap of Faith. He also had a regular role on the NBC series Smash.
