Jamie Foxx to Launch Unpredictable Tour on December 26.

Dreamgirls star Jamie Foxx will launch an eight-week concert tour in support of his new CD Unpredictable on December 26 at the San Diego Civic Center. He will play nearly 20 cities, including Chicago, St. Louis, Boston, New York, Orlando, and Cleveland, before the tour concludes on February 16 at Las Vegas’ Aladdin Hotel.

The concert will include selections from the CD as well as stand-up comedy. Foxx recently received three Grammy Award nominations for the recording, including Best R&B Album and Best Rap/Song Collaboration. The J Records CD has already been certified platinum.
On selected dates, Foxx will be joined by former Americana Idol winner and fellow recording star Fantasia.

Foxx can currently be seen on screen as Curtis Taylor, Jr. in the hit film Dreamgirls. He received an Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the film Ray and was nominated the same year for Best Supporting Actor for Collateral. His many other film credits include Ali, Miami Vice, and Any Given Sunday; next year, he will be seen in The Kingdom opposite Jennifer Garner.
