Kelli O’Hara will star opposite Matthew Broderick in the new Broadway musical Nice Work if You Can Get It, to open on Broadway in Spring 2012 at a theater to be announced.

As previously announced, three time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall will direct and choreograph the production. Additional casting and creative team will be announced at a later date.

The musical, about a wealthy playboy who gets mixed up with a trio of bootleggers, features a score by George and Ira Gershwin and a book by Joe DiPetro.

O’Hara received Tony Award nominations for her performances in South Pacific, The Pajama Game, and The Light in the Piazza. O’Hara’s other Broadway credits include The Sweet Smell of Success, Dracula and Jekyll and Hyde. She will be featured this fall in the Public Theater’s Off-Broadway production of King Lear.
