Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Boom at Ars Nova

Full cast and creative team has been announced for the world premiere of Peter Sinn Nachtrieb’s Boom, to be presented at Ars Nova, March 5-April 13 with an opening set for March 13. Obie Award winner Alex Timbers will direct.

In Boom, when Jo answers Jules’ casual-encounters ad seeking “intensely significant coupling,” she has no idea what she is in for.

The cast will include Megan Ferguson, Lucas Near-Verbrugghe, and Susan Wands. The creative team will include Wilson Chin (set design), Marcus Doshi (lighting design), Emily Rebholz (costume design), and Mark Huang (sound design).

Nachtrieb’s other works include Hunter Gatherers, Colorado, Meaningless, and The Amorphous Blob. Hunter Gatherers received the 2007 American Theatre Critics Association/Steinberg New Play Award and the 2007 Will Glickman Prize for best new play in the Bay Area.
