Lindsey Broad, Lenny Jacobson, Mackenzie Phillips Set for Michael John LaChiusa’s Sukie & Sue: Their Story

The Blank Theatre has announced casting for its world premiere production of Michael John LaChiusa’s Sukie & Sue: Their Story, to run April 21-June 3 at the 2nd Stage Theatre. Kirsten Sanderson will direct.

Based on real events, Sukie & Sue: Their Story is a comedic telling of the story of two young nurses whose Raggedy Ann doll becomes possessed and destroys their lives.

The cast will feature Nick Ballard, Lindsey Broad, Elena Campbell-Martinez, Eddie Driscoll, Rae Foster, Lenny Jacobson, Mary-Beth Manning, and Mackenzie Phillips.

The design team will include Eric Broadwater (set design), Stephanette Smith (lighting design), Bethany Jane Bohatila (costume design), Stephen Weston (prop design and special effects), and Warren Davis (sound design).
