Tony Award nominee Gavin Lee will join the company of the hit musical Top Hat on February 5 at the Aldwych Theatre. Lee will replace Tom Chambers in the leading role of Broadway dancer Jerry Travers in the show.

The production is directed by Matthew White, with choreography by Bill Deamer. It features a score by Irving Berlin that includes hits like “Cheek to Cheek,” and “White Tie and Tails,” and a book by White and Howard Jacques inspired by the RKO film of the same name.

Lee originated the role of Bert in both the London and Broadway productions of Mary Poppins, and is currently playing the role at the New Amsterdam Theatre.
