The Broadway production of Doug Wright's I Am My Own Wife, the play that won the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2004 Tony Award for Best Play, will end its run on October 31 after 365 regular performances and 26 previews at the Lyceum Theatre.

Directed by Moisés Kaufman, I Am My Own Wife transferred to the Lyceum following a run Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons. Jefferson Mays, who won a Tony for his performance in the one-person show, will lead a touring production that is set to open at Chicago's Goodman Theatre in January.

In his review of the show for TheaterMania, David Finkle wrote that I Am My Own Wife is "way up the alley of anyone interested in superlative theater."
