Tony nominee Kate Burton and Jennifer Van Dyck will co-star in a reading of Sarah Schulman’s The Lady Hamlet, to be presented by American Repertory Theater at the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, on Tuesday, October 20, at 7:30pm. Peter DuBois will direct.
The play is set in 1920s New York, and concerns actresses Margo Stayden Burns and Helene de Montpelier — both of whom were born to play Hamlet. The reading is presented as part of the Shakespeare Exploded New Play Reading Series.
