Kutztown University's Schaeffer Auditorium, originally constructed in 1938 and renovated in 2013, is named after President Nathan Schaeffer, who served the school from 1877-93. The jewel of Schaeffer Auditorium is the 800-seat theatre where musical, dance, and theatrical performances regularly grace the stage. KU Presents! Family and Performing Artists Series' bring world-renowned entertainers to our area. The building also houses classrooms to introduce students to the wonder of music and a smaller secondary theatre provides a stage for entertainment groups.
