Bucks County Playhouse has announced the cast and creative team for its production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific, running June 18-July 26, with an opening night on June 20, at the New Hope Theater.
Ryan Silverman and Alexandra Socha will lead the cast as Emile de Becque and Nellie Forbush. They will be joined by Ann Sanders as Bloody Mary, Mike Schwitter as Lt. Joseph Cable, David Hess as Captain Brackett, Taylor Crousore as Luther Billis, Áine Dorman as Liat, Austin Wong Harper as Henri, and Trevor Martin as Commander Harbison. Lexie Brown, John Cuozzo, Andrew Eckert, Raphe Gilliam, Lauren Honderd, Elle Kim, Ayana Kjonaas, McGee Maddox, Kaitlyn Mayse, Lizz Picini, Scott Silagy, Markos Vazquez-Bostock, and Weston Wright round out the cast.
Two-time Tony Award nominee Denis Jones returns to Bucks County Playhouse to direct and choreograph the production. The creative team also includes music director Matthew Smedal, scenic designer Anna Louizos, costume designer Leon Dobkowski, lighting designer Yael Lubetzky, sound designer Joshua D. Reid, and hair, wig, and makeup designer J. Jared Janas.
