Go Back to the '60s as Trip of Love Opens Off-Broadway

The new musical revue uses some of the best songs from the landmark era.

The new "dance-musical spectacle" Trip of Love celebrated its opening night at Stage 42 (formerly the Little Shubert Theatre) on October 18. The production is created, directed, and choreographed by James Walski, and comes to New York following a 2008 run in Osaka, Japan. The production incorporates some of the greatest tunes of the '60s, including "Blowin' in the Wind," "Born to Be Wild," "California Dreamin'," "I Saw Her Standing There," "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'," "White Rabbit," "You Don't Own Me," and many more. The cast includes Joey Calveri, David Elder, Kelly Felthous, Dionne Figgins, Austin Miller, Tara Palsha, and Laurie Wells, alongside Yesenia Ayala, Colin Bradbury, Bo Broadwell, Kyle Brown, Whitney Cooper, Alexa De Barr, Daniel Lynn Evans, Lisa Finegold, Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Steve Geary, Daryl Getman, Jennifer Gruener, Brandon Leffler, Peter Nelson, Kristin Piro, and Nicky Venditti.
