The stars of Second Stage Theatre's world-premiere production of Neil LaBute's The Way We Get By, which opens on May 19, met the press on May 1.

Tony nominee Leigh Silverman directs the dark comedy, which features Tony nominee Thomas Sadoski and Amanda Seyfried. They play Doug and Beth, who wake up together following a drunken wedding reception and share a very awkward morning-after conversation about sex, society, and how much they really care about what other people think.

Seyfried makes her off-Broadway debut opposite Sadoski, last seen on Broadway in Other Desert Cities. The production features scenic design by Neil Patel, costume design by Emily Rebholtz, lighting design by Matthew Frey, and sound design by Jill BC DuBoff.
