The York Theatre Company presents the New York premiere of Plaid Tidings, the holiday edition of the musical revue Forever Plaid, featuring a book by Stuart Ross and vocal and musical arrangements by James Raitt, Brad Ellis, Raymond Berg, and David Snyder. Ross also lends direction and musical staging, with musical continuity and supervision by Snyder.

Holiday classics are getting a Forever Plaid twist, with renditions of "Jingle Bells," "’Twuz the Night B4…," and "The Dreidel Song" making the bill. Audience favorites include the riotous three-minute version of "The Ed Sullivan Show" (this time featuring the Rockettes, the Chipmunks, and the Vienna Boys Choir) and a Plaid Caribbean Christmas will also join the performance.

Performances are set to begin on Tuesday, December 8, for a limited three-week engagement through Sunday, December 27, at the York Theatre Company at Saint Peter’s. The production's official opening is set for Sunday, December 13.

The four-member cast will be announced at a later date.
