Two original cast members turn it on.

Nikki M. James and Rory O’Malley are returning to Broadway’s The Book of Mormon for a strictly limited 12-week engagement.
James will reprise her Tony Award-winning role as Nabulungi, while O’Malley will return as Elder McKinley, the role for which he received a Tony Award nomination. Their engagement at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre will run from October 27, 2026 through January 17, 2027.
James and O’Malley previously reunited with The Book of Mormon this past June for the production’s “Magical Mormon Mystery Week,” during which they performed selected scenes and songs. This time, they will perform their complete original roles.
The Book of Mormon features a book, music, and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone. Casey Nicholaw choreographs and directs the production with Parker.
The musical opened on Broadway in March 2011 and has won nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, as well as the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. It is the longest-running production in the 100-year history of the Eugene O’Neill Theatre and currently ranks as the 10th-longest-running Broadway musical of all time.
