Kathleen Chalfant, Mary Testa to Star in Women on Fire

The new play is written and directed by Chris Henry.

Royal Family Productions will present a brief off-Broadway run of Women on Fire: Stories From the Frontlines, written, curated, and directed by Chris Henry from stories told to her by a group of anonymous women. The production will run May 11-21 at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space, with choreography by Lorna Ventura.

The rotating cast includes Kathleen Chalfant, Blair Baker, Maddie Corman, Elizabeth A. Davis, Simone Harrison, Evelyn Howe, Cynthia Mace, Gargi Mukherjee, Kira Player, Laila Robins, Lianah Sta. Ana, and Mary Testa. The production has lighting and scenic design by Cheyenne Sykes and original music by Lars Jacobsen.

Henry has collected women’s stories, and with them she explores the “State of the United States” from different cultural, socioeconomic, and diverse perspectives.
