Irish Repertory Theatre Extends Honor Molloy's Crackskull Row

Irish Repertory Theatre's production of Honor Molloy's play Crackskull Row, which began performances on February 3, has extended its run at the W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre. Originally scheduled to close on March 19, the play will now run through March 26.

Directed by Kira Simring, Crackskull Row was first presented by the Cell, at the Main Stage of the Workshop Theater, in September 2016 as part of Origin's 1st Irish Theatre Festival. The work is described as follows: "Rasher Moorigan has a secret that only his mother knows. Tonight — for the first time in over 30 years — mother and son spend May Eve together in a wreck of a house down the back lanes of Dublin."

The show's ensemble includes Gina Costigan, Terry Donnelly, Colin Lane, and John Charles McLaughlin. The production features lighting design by Gertjan Houben, set design by Daniel Geggatt and Caitlyn Murphy, costume design by Sienna Zoë Allen, and original music and sound design by M. Florian Staab.
