PHOTO FLASH: Farah Alvin, Natalie Venetia Belcon, John Bolton, Jake Boyd at The Last Smoker in America Press Event

The cast and creative team of the upcoming Off-Broadway production The Last Smoker in America met the press on Thursday, June 21 at New 42nd Street Studios. The production begins July 11 at the Westside Theatre in advance of an August 2 opening.

Farah Alvin, Natalie Venetia Belcon, John Bolton, and Jake Boyd star in the musical, which is set in a world where smoking has recently been outlawed.

Andy Sandberg will direct the production, which features music by Peter Melnick, a book and lyrics by Bill Russell, and choreography by AC Ciulla. The creative team includes Fred Lassen (musical supervision), Charles Corcoran (sets), Michael McDonald (costumes), Jeff Croiter & Grant Yeager (lights), and Bart Fasbender (sound).
